While many laid off workers are frantically using job searches to try to find a job while collecting unemployment checks to buy some time, quite a few folks are finding a Mcdonalds employment application is only a few mouse clicks away and filling them out within 30-50 minutes.

Search for Mcdonalds jobs in your area at Job.com

These people are not waiting for their dream job to fall from the sky; they’re simply trying to make something happen in these tough times while trying to pave themselves a road to success, so they use opportunities to apply online.

Jill Harding, an 18 year old crew member who recently filled out a Mcdonalds application and was hired in Birmingham, AL, offers, “I needed a job after high school because my family and I needed the money. I’m going to Jefferson State (Community College) in the fall and I’ll see if I can progress through this company like I want. I’m hoping for a degree to take me into the management aspect of this company.”

Harding’s is not an unusual scenario these days. In fact, many college students are opting for jobs in Mcdonalds or Walmart over riding on the wings of the latest hot company offering much higher salaries but no job security. These workers know the value of job security and are willing to start at the bottom of the management ladder and work their way up even if it only means getting their foot in the door leading to success. iHireNow – Find a new job now.

For college graduates, the trend for the last few years in America’s corporate world has been to work at a company for an average of three years and moving to another company and landing a better paying position. This has not been ideal for companies who have continually lost their best employees but it has benefited employees looking to increase their salary potential.

The only drawback to having this mindset has been that in the moment of truth when many companies have crumbled because of the economy, many of these workers have been laid off and are barely gettting by on unemployment checks as we speak. On the contrary, those who have sought Mcdonalds employment or other established companies that have proven they are here to stay, have consistently prospered.

An application for Mcdonalds stands for the two most favorable aspects of any type of career in any economic state; job security and promotional opportunities. Harding says it best when she states, “There simply is no way you can lose but you can lose out if you don’t consider a career with Mickey Dees.”

You can fill out a Mcdonalds application form online at their main careers website or by visiting them in person. I have found it’s better to apply in person, especially for management positions.

Search for retail jobs in your area at Job.com

With the holidays around the corner, Mcdonalds applications continue to be filled at a very high rate as everyone from teenagers to senior citizens are looking for some extra cash.

Every year, sometime around late September, people start scrambling to find part-time or full-time jobs to fit their goals of making some extra Christmas cash, and Mcdonalds jobs are usually somewhere at the top of most everyone’s list because of the fairly quick hiring process.

The only problem is; with the way the economy has been, it’s not as easy anymore to get hired pretty much anywhere, and positions are not as plentiful as before.

With that said, now is the time to put forth your Mcdonalds application for a chance at getting hired within the next month so you can at least have two months worth of paychecks to get you through December into the new year.

Other places to look for seasonal jobs are with package/parcel delivery companies such as Fedex and UPS, who usually hire many temporary workers to handle their heavy traffic during the holidays, and many times, if you prove yourself to be a good worker, you may be offered a full-time job after all is said and done!

Either way, if you need a job before old Kris Kringle comes to town start looking everywhere from classifieds to the Internet, and be aggressive in trying to land a position.

Apply at Mcdonalds as well as other places so you don’t sell yourself short, and watch your opportunities roll in. Hopefully, you’ll get the call back from the golden arches so you can get started on hearing that ca-ching, ca-ching soon enough!

So, you have filled out your Mcdonalds application and you are settled in and happy at your job. In any business, how many times have we heard an idiotic customer saying something like any combination of the proverbial, “I want your name and I want to speak to your manager right now. I’m going to have your job. Don’t you know who I am? You’ll never work here again!”

Your response, and I hope you’re keeping it to yourself, would hopefully be to look at the person one last time before feeling sorry that the person is the most miserable wretch on the planet, and there’s really nothing you can do about it!

No one on this planet is immune to complaints, but it is how we deal with these unfortunate situations that allows us to grow and prosper as human beings. Next time someone throws a fit and wants your job because their egg mcmuffin happens to be a little cold, heed this advice:

Never take any comment from an irate or unhappy customer personal, even if they call you a name or say, “Yo mama wears army boots.” Keep your voice level at a normal tone, and if you can’t reason with the person while speaking this way, let them know you’d like to speak with and help them after they vent their frustration and calm down.

You’ll find that more times than not, the person eventually feels like they idiot they are for acting that way in the first place, and they leave at least partially satisfied that you made things right.

It is impossible to please everyone all the time, but try to humbly make the best out of a bad situation, and you’ll come out on top – always!

With the way things have been going lately around my area, I wouldn’t be surprised if I fill out a Mcdonalds application if I head to work one day and find news about how my company is going to lay off several workers – including me! Luckily, it hasn’t happened yet.

But what if it were to happen? Would I leave my job in disgust, go home, and start feeling sorry for myself? Would I study my shoelaces going, “Woe is me, woe is me?” I think not! Would I retreat to my couch like a handful of people I know instead of going out there and pounding the pavement first thing Monday morning? Of course not. I’ve got a winning attitude – and that’s where it starts or doesn’t start for many people.

The problem with many folks is they mistakenly believe, in tough economy such as this one, that they’re going to find a better job that pays much more or at least close to the same amount of money they were earning, and, if not, well then there’s unemployment checks anyway, right? This is a dangerous attitude to have. Many people keep putting off really searching for a new position or career and find their unemployment checks drying up after a few months, and when it’s crunch time, they scramble to find a job.

Unemployment compensation is designed to help people who have lost jobs find their way to a new job so they don’t end up living under a bridge. If you’re sitting at home right now, and you’ve got management experience, you’re much better off going out and landing one of the many Mcdonalds jobs out there, even if it means starting out at the bottom. Chances are, there’s a position waiting for you, and although you may be earning exactly what you would if you were sitting at home collecting Uncle Sam’s unemployment paycheck gifts, you’re going to put yourself in a better position than the next guy or girl as you move up the ladder to assistant manager or manager.

If the thought of a Mcdonalds career doesn’t suit your fancy, consider one of the other generally easier career choices to submit your resume or application to, such as a large retail chain – they’re always looking for quality people.

Who knows? Maybe you can submit a Mcdonalds application, learn how the business operates, and you can start your very own Mcdonalds restaurant franchise within 5 years!

If you’ve been laid off and are looking for a solid career, it may be a good idea to not pay attention to the fast food stereotypes of low pay and dead end futures, and fill out a Mcdonalds application before the next person does.

It’s true that entry level crew member jobs at Mcdonalds won’t make you a Rockefeller any time soon, but depending on your work experience and qualifications, you may be able to land either a corporate position or an assistant manager position.

The history of Mcdonalds tells us there’s plenty of opportunity to succeed and prosper quickly for people making a career switch because of the usual high turnover rate in this industry, which is mostly due to employing younger workers who have used the fast food business as a stepping stone, and to bigger and better things. This leaves plenty of room open for workers wanting career advancement; it’s common for a a hard-working person to join as a crew member, work as an assistant manager within six months to a year, then make it to restaurant manager within the next two years!

Also, because of the recent economic state, the turnover rates have dropped slightly, and, much to the surprise of many current employees, a sustained career at this fast food giant looks more appealing.

The worst thing you can do at a time like this is overlook a career because you may feel it’s “beneath you” and to put things into perspective, know that there are many employees who have made the right career change who are making 40-90,000 dollars a year in salary at their McDonalds jobs while other people are biting their fingernails knowing their unemployment checks will soon run out.

Sometimes you have to take a step backward to take a huge step forward!

For those of you looking for a job applications with a secure future and a chance at continued growth, a Mcdonalds application just may be what the doctor ordered.

Search for Mcdonalds jobs in your area at Job.com.

These days, many college graduates are finding out the hard way their career choices are so narrow they have to think outside the box and look past their original career goals in order to land their first job.

Some grads have turned to local jobs through a Mcdonalds career to help them get their feet wet in the workplace only to find they’ve picked a great company with excellent benefits, and many actually stay for the long haul.

Many teenage workers trying to find summer or part-time jobs usually fill out Mcdonalds employment application before trying anywhere else. They figure with so many entry-level job openings available, they have a good shot at getting hired right away if they meet their criteria.

While it’s true that Mcdonalds jobs are continually being filled due to expansion and high turnover rates in the fast food industry, the ones who are well-prepared are having the most success getting hired quickly. Local Jobs Hiring Now! GET HIRED. GET PAID!

Andre Borregon, a MD’s restaurant manager in West Palm Beach, FL says, “I usually have an onslaught of mostly 16 and 17 year old kids applying right before school ends in June, and to be honest, I think kids are getting these jobs because their parents can’t afford their expensive needs such as the latest clothing, the best sneakers, etc. This gives them a chance to take money pressure off their parents while providing things they need.”

Recently laid off workers are turning to this fast food chain also and filling out applications for Mcdonalds at a record pace. They know all too well about the lack of job security and are willing to take an initial pay cut to join a working family that’s here to stay.

John Billingsley, a general store manager from Toledo, OH says happily, “I was laid off from a management position in an advertising agency here in town about a year and a half ago, and I never would have thought I would ever submit my resume to a fast food chain. A good friend of mine suggested I look into the Mcdonalds careers available, and I haven’t looked back ever since. Although I’m making substantially less than I was at my old job, I’m much happier because there’s room to grow and advance, and I don’t have to worry about losing my job tomorrow.”
