What to Do When Mcdonalds Customers Irritate You

You Can Handle Angry CustomersIn any business, how many times have we heard the  idiotic customer saying something like any combination of the proverbial, “I want your name and I want to speak to your manager right now.  I’m going to have your job.  Don’t you know who I am?  You’ll never work here again!”

Your response, and I hope you’re keeping it to yourself, would hopefully be to look at the person one last time before feeling sorry that the person is the most miserable wretch on the planet, and there’s really nothing you can do about it!

No one on this planet is immune to complaints, but it is how we deal with these unfortunate situations that allows us to grow and prosper as human beings.  Next time someone throws a fit and wants your job because their egg mcmuffin happens to be a little cold, heed this advice:

Never take any comment from an irate or unhappy customer personal, even if they call you a name or say, “Yo mama wears army boots.”  Keep your voice level at a normal tone, and iIf you can’t reason with the person while speaking this way, let them know you’d like to speak with and help them after they vent their frustration and calm down.

You’ll find that more times than not, the person eventually feels like they idiot they are for acting that way in the first place, and they leave at least partially satisfied that you made things right.

It is impossible to please everyone all the time, but try to humbly make the best out of a bad situation, and you’ll come out on top – always!
